Blaser Software Releases Emergency Phone Broadcaster - Basic Paging for Cisco CallManager and Cisco Unified Communications

Pittsburgh, PA - April 4, 2013 – Furthering its commitment to the development of emergency communication software for computer networks, Blaser Software today announced that its Emergency Phone Broadcaster is now available for use with Cisco Unified Communication Manager and the older Cisco CallManager system.
The Blaser Emergency Phone Broadcaster is an emergency notification solution that extends the features of an existing Cisco Voice-over-IP (VoIP) telephone system to allow for the simultaneous sending of an audio broadcast and text message to multiple Cisco IP phones, IP speaker endpoints and integrated overhead paging systems.

“Blaser Software is committed to developing and providing our customers with software that creates or enhances an emergency communication infrastructure.” says Beau Blaser, president and CEO of Blaser Software.  “Cisco CUCM and CallManager users will immediately realize the benefits of a basic paging solution for delivering paging and emergency notification messages regardless of their organization’s size. This new software will enhance any Cisco VoIP Phone System by adding paging and emergency notification capabilities.  When emergency notification is needed, you can activate the features of the system through the push of a single button on the IP Phone.”

Blaser Software announces lower pricing for emergency alert system - BEAMS

Pittsburgh, PA - January 4, 2013 – Blaser Software has announced today that it has changed its licensing model and cost for the very popular Blaser Emergency Alert Messaging System (BEAMS) effective today.  The BEAMS system is the premiere alert system for Windows computers in a network environment.  BEAMS competitive advantage is that it can instantly display a large, full-screen, noticeable, flashing, attention-getting alert message on all computers even if no one is logged-on or otherwise actively using the computer.
The new price restructuring is effective January 4, 2013 through March 29, 2013.  During this time, licenses for the BEAMS system will be a flat rate of $2499 (US) for qualifying educational institutions.  This price includes 500 client access licenses and the first-year of product updates.

“We feel that this price point combined with additional client access licenses will enable more schools to get equipped with emergency alerting software to help their communities when notifications need to be sent out quickly, for whatever the reason”, said Blaser Software’s President and CEO, Beau Blaser.  “Emergency communication software is only part of an effective crisis preparedness strategy, but if our company can help people by equipping them with the tools they are lacking, then we need to do what we can to make it happen.”

A fully-functional trial of the BEAMS system, which supports up to 50 clients, can download immediately from http://www.blaser.us/
